Foot the Chain was started 4 years ago to help raise awareness for addiction and recovery. It started as a group of guys getting together every January as a MANCation. In 2022, the Barefoot Shootout was born. The Shootout was to extend the invitation to all Barefoot Waterskiers, escape to Winter Haven, Florida, jump in a boat and Foot The Chain. Of course we added a little competition, but the true spirit was to get to know more of us like minded crazy’s known as Barefoot Waterskiers.

This years event will be benefitting Clean Pirate Life, a local addiction-recovery foundation right here in Polk County. The mission is to let everyone know how accessible sobriety is.

This October, the Varatti Boats Factory Team from Cambridge, Minnesota proudly participated in the famous community parades held in Anoka, Minnesota. Known as the Halloween Capital of the World, Anoka provides the perfect setting for festive celebrations, and Varatti was thrilled to be part of the excitement.

The Varatti team joined in two spectacular events:

Adding to the excitement were our partners, Miller Marine of St. Cloud and Power Lodge of Ramsey. Together, we showcased the stunning 2025 Varatti Z2373 decked out in dazzling Halloween decorations. The boat, illuminated with LED lights, bats, spiderwebs, and orange accents, captured the attention of thousands of parade attendees. It was a true showstopper that highlighted the craftsmanship and style Varatti is known for.
