To promote and protect all towed water sports activity. The WSIA is the towed water sports industry’s leading advocate and is known for preserving the vitality of our activities long into the future.
Taking part in boating and water sports (the "Activities") can be HAZARDOUS and INVOLVES THE RISK OF PHYSICAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH to you as well as your passengers and all towed skiers and riders. You acknowledge that the Activities are inherently dangerous and fully realize the dangers of participating in the Activities. The risks and dangers of the activity include, but are not limited to: drowning, sinking, falling overboard, propeller strikes, carbon monoxide poisoning, rope snaps, falling while being towed or wake surfing, collisions with fallen skier, rider, or other watercraft, loss of steering or throttle control, slip and fall (getting in and out of the boat), striking obstacles or underwater hazards, and driver error. You acknowledge and understand that the description of the risks above is not complete and that participating in the Activities may be dangerous and may include other risks. You have read the owner/operator's manual and watched the safety tutorial. You agree to abide by all instructions, directions, and warnings contained in the safety tutorial, owner/operator's manual, and on the boat. You further agree to ask other users and passengers to view the safety tutorial.
